Delete your Recipe Book account

This page describes the implemented in-app deletion flow. Final legal wording remains under review.

Delete in the app

  1. Sign in to Recipe Book.
  2. Open your profile from the account avatar.
  3. Download a JSON export if you want a copy.
  4. Select Delete account and confirm.

Owned books

Deletion is blocked while you own a shared book. Transfer ownership to another member or delete the owned book first so collaborators do not lose content unexpectedly.

What deletion does

The active account is anonymized and its memberships are removed. Content governed by another owner may remain in that owner’s shared book with attribution minimized according to the product rules. Encrypted backups age out on the planned 35-day schedule, unless a legal hold applies.

If you cannot sign in, email privacy@stnc.com from the account email address. STNC LTD may request identity verification. Do not send passwords, access tokens or identity documents unless an approved secure process is provided.
